LocalMonero/AgoraDesk to shut down on November 7 2024 due to 'internal and external factors'

LocalMonero/AgoraDesk¹ - the top P2P Monero trading platform - has announced plans² to shut down on November 7 2024 due to a combination of internal and external factors, after almost 7 years of operation:

[..] we have made the difficult decision to close our platform. We’re extremely thankful for the love and support we’ve received over the years. We couldn’t have done it without you. We love you all [..] The winding-down process begins today, and finishes 6 months from now. Our support staff will be available for help throughout this period.

Timeline

May 7 (today): all new signups and ad postings are disabled
May 14 2024: new trades will be disabled
Nov 7 2024: the website will be taken down

Users are advised to delete personal data, cancel any open trades/disputes and reclaim funds from arbitration bond wallets prior to November 7 2024. Any remaining funds may be considered abandoned/forfeited after the deadline.
